Vase update

It might not look like progress, but it is, honest! I've reworked the collar and it's a much improved version and was chuffed with how the medallions have slotted into place - much easier than I expected. The next step will be adding the mega, massive, bling-overload rivolis and then said vase will look totally OTT! Lots of work still ahead, but it's coming along spiffingly.

  13. I JUST found out about Gill's passing. I'm still in shock & am so sad. I read about her accident in the latest issue of Bead & Button. I still just don't know what to say.

I got to know here about 6 months before she left on her holiday. We wrote to each other about beading & especially about our Scotties. She said she'd carry on our conversation when she got back. Then time & things got in the way. Last week, I told myself that I hadn't heard anything from Gill in months, but thought she was just creating. Then today...well, I'm so sad. I really would have loved to have gotten to know her better. From the little time we communicated, we felt like kindred spirits. I'm so sorry. Very sorry.
